Yacine Boulares is a French-Tunisian saxophonist, clarinetist and composer based in New York. Studied under a great saxophone player Andre Villeger, Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris and New School for Jazz and Contemporary music, won the Esprit Jazz Festival Competition in Paris and was endorsed by Selmer saxophones, is currently a D’Addario woodwinds and Lebayle mouthpieces artist. Yacine currently works as a solo musician, as well as has performed and recorded together with Sheila Jordan, Theo Bleckman, Becca Stevens and many others including a famous opera legend Placido Domingo, broadening his knowledge in jazz, classical, ethno, experimental and African folk music.

Krists Saržants is a Latvian composer who takes his inspiration from classical, jazz and film music. Studied classical and jazz piano and composition with Raimonds Petrauskis, Andris Dzenītis and Søren Møller, in 2018 Krists was nominated for the Nic Gotham Award for the contribution to jazz music and jazz life in Latvia, as well as represented Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music at the IASJ (International Association of Schools of Jazz) in Viljandi, Estonia. Krists has played in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands. In his music Krists uses modern classical music techniques, jazz improvisation, polyphonic melodies and film music inspired harmonies, with his recordings distributed worldwide at the largest European jazz gathering “Jazzahead! 2017” and included in the official “Jazz in Latvia 2018” CD compilation.

Rob Duguay lives in Queens, New York and performs regularly around the New York City area, leading multiple groups including Songevity, Low Key Trio, and Rob Duguay Quartet and Trio. Born in Toronto, he began studying classical piano at age 6 and started playing jazz in high school, picking up the piano, upright bass, and percussion instruments. Throughout the years, Rob has had the opportunity to study and play music formally and informally with many great jazz talents while living in Connecticut, Vermont, New Orleans, New York City, Washington, D.C., and Paris, France. He received an ASCAP award for jazz composition upon entrance to the university through the help of the Louis Armstrong Foundation. Rob entered the Master’s of Music in Jazz Studies graduate program at William Paterson University under Dr. David Demsey. Rob’s music reflects the diverse array of living and legendary influences he actively seeks out. Through his musical achievements and his love of music, Rob has earned recognition for bass performance, composition, and service in the jazz community.
