The evening will begin with «Ventspils saxophone quartet» with J.S.Bach’s music and continue with Denisa Dārzniece sextet, ending up with a jam session with Ventspils secondary music school teachers and students’ participation.

«Ventspils saxophone quartet» has been actively working on the music material since September, paying special attention to ancient music, A.Piazzolla, M.Mower, and improvisation. The quartet consists of the music school and secondary school students. Denisa about her sextet: “When we were creating a sextet, we knew that each of us has his own sound and ideology — both in music and in life. Thanks to that, our creative approach has a wide spectrum of colors, which, just as brushes, helps us paint our musical canvas. I strongly stand for light, brightness and growth, so I think that we have to keep colorful people near us, inspiring us to create new pictures. The jam session will feature Ventspils secondary music school teachers: Toms Poišs, Kaspars Kurdeko, Kaspars Vizulis, Laura Rubīna, Evija Vēbere, Renārs Lācis, Ģirts Celmiņš.
