UNESCO International Jazz Day Latvia program this year will feature something special: cosy Trompete Taproom will host a photo exhibition “Jazz Faces” by Arthur Dimenshtein, that will last until the end of June. Arthur Dimenshtein was born in Riga in 1973 and is a passionate photographer for the last 20 years, so this photo exhibition unites two greatest passions of his life – music and photography. All photos at the exhibition are shot on a black and white film, which unites those two genres of art even more. The exhibition contains Latvian jazz musicians concert and rehearsal photos.
The exhibition will take off with a concert by Edgars Rugājs trio and a special jam session afterwards:
Edgars Rugājs – guitar
Toms Kursītis – bass
Rihards Hermanis – drums
