“FunCOOLio” is a Latvian instrumental funk/fusion band. The name “FunCOOLio” is formed from two words: “funk” (style name) and “Coolio” – (R `n` B artist). The band performs self-composed original compositions using the unique Hammond organ sound. In 2014 the band released their debut album consisting of 11 instrumental compositions. “VOL.1” is nominated for Latvian music records award of the year (Golden Microphone 2014) in “Best jazz music album” category. In 2016 “FunCOOLio” performed in Kaliningrad City Jazz festival, warming up the famous bass player and singer – Richard Bona & Mandekan Cubano band (USA). In 2017 the group has perfomed at Petrojazz (Sankt Peterburg, Russia) and Ventspils Groove (Ventspils, Latvija) festivals. In 2018 FunCOOLio is preparing to release a new album on limited edition vinyl.

For this event FunCOOLio have prepared a program featuring a special guest Fred Hormain (France) in saxophone. The concert will feature songs from the debut album, as well as compositions that will be included in the new release.
