Rob Duguay lives in Queens, New York and performs regularly around the New York City tri-state area, leading multiple groups including Songevity, Low Key Trio, and Rob Duguay Quartet and Trio. Born in Toronto, he began studying classical piano at age 6 and started playing jazz in high school, picking up the piano, upright bass, and percussion instruments. Throughout the years, Rob has had the opportunity to study and play music formally and informally with many great jazz talents while living in Connecticut, Vermont, New Orleans, New York City, Washington, D.C., and Paris, France. He received an ASCAP award for jazz composition upon entrance to the university through the help of the Louis Armstrong Foundation. Rob entered the Master’s of Music in Jazz Studies graduate program at William Paterson University under Dr. David Demsey. Rob’s music reflects the diverse array of living and legendary influences he actively seeks out. Through his musical achievements and his love of music, Rob has earned recognition for bass performance, composition, and service in the jazz community.
Toms Rudzinskis represents the new generation of Latvian jazz performers and composers, he is one of the most innovative jazzmen in the country and has participated in a vast amount of significant competitions and festivals — Grand Prix in Dutch Jazz (2014), Burghausen Jazz Competition (2013) and Keep an Eye (2012); in 2012 he has been elected as jazz messenger of a noticable Amsterdam concert hall — Bimhuis.
Andris Buikis is one of the most appreciated Latvian drummers, played with “KEKSI”, Arnis Mednis, Jānis Stībelis, Dons, Intars Busulis, Aija Vītoliņa, Laimis Rācenājs, Laima Vaikule, Marija Naumova, Uldis Marhilevičs, Raimonds Pauls, “Sound Poets” and many other famous Latvian pop and jazz musicians. The proud 1st place in SONY JAZZ STAGE in 2008 in “Jazz Drums” category. Graduated from Ansterdam conservatory, played with Harmen Fraanje, Clemens van der Feen, Jasper Blom, “The Brag Pack”, “K Trio”, as well as “Messhugguys”. 1st place in Keep an Eye jazz award, 1st place in three categories in Iceland Music Award, a representative of “BRO Creation Drums”.
