Ivara Brīnuma trio is a new music project that unites three young and talented musicians.

Ivars Brīnums (violin) and Viktors Stankevičs (double bass) graduated from JVLMA, both with masters degree and are a part of “Sinfonietta Riga” chamber orchestra. Along with that they are involved in other classical music projects in Latvia and abroad. Artjoms Sarvi is a masters student at JVLMA and also one of the most talentened jazz pianists in Latvia.

The Trio presents jazz and tango music and tries to bring out and show their listeners some compositions of world famous musicians and authors. When classical musicians meet a jazz musician, they form a new, unique sound with its own energy.
