Add Libitum is a band consisting of well known Latvian musicians.
Madars Kalniņš is a composer and a teacher in many Latvian schools teaching jazz music. Has played in R.Raubiško and G.Rozenberg jazztet, has performed in many festivals in Europe and USA.
Saxophonist Gints Pabērzs played in a popular funk and acid jazz band “Time After Time” and “Sweetwaterz”. Gints has participated in a vast amount of festivals and competitions and has received awards for outstanding performances and CD’s.
Drummer Artis Orubs actively cooperates with artists of different styles and genres, such as Kaspars Dimiters, Deniss Paškevičs, Driving South and etc. In search of education and inspiration went to Holland to study and perform and lived there for over 5 years. Has participated in many concerts, festivals, recordings all around Europe collaborating with different musicians.
Andris Grunte plays electronic double bass, has played in Latvian Philharmonic orchestra since 1990. Participated in Māris Briežkalns quartet, H. Sīmanis band, 11 Strings, Artis Orubs trio, Laima Jansone ensemble and many other projects.
